Death of a loved one is a difficult experience. In this time of sorrow, it is our desire to minister to families in their time of need. Funerals conducted at Franklin Heights Church are conducted to comfort the grieving, and worship Jesus Christ.
Funeral Policy and Information
- Funerals are scheduled at Franklin Heights based on availability and family preferences.
- Franklin Heights Pastoral Staff will conduct funeral services held at FHC. Any requests for another pastor to officiate or assist in the service must be approved by the Senior Pastor.
- Funeral services conducted at FHS are services of worship, celebrating the life of the deceased and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. As such, all portions of the service are to be consistent with current worship practices of Franklin Heights.
- All music used in the service must be appropriate for a Christian service and must be approved by Franklin Heights Church Staff.
- Any music, videos or photographs to be used in the service must be submitted to the Worship Pastor at least two days prior to the service. All music used in the service must be appropriate for a Christian service and must be approved by Franklin Heights Church Staff. Please contact the Worship Pastor regarding approved file formats.
- Families are welcome to video the service, but Franklin Heights is unable to provide this service.
Fees:
Fees may be required for the services of the Pianist, the Organist, custodial support and the Sound Technician. Please Note: While it is not mandatory, it is a generous and customary gesture to provide the officiating pastor with a monetary gift.
