A native of Houston, TX, Laurel joined the staff in 2024 and now serves as a Worship Directory with Franklin Heights Church and School of Ministry Director with the FHC Network. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Artist Development from Liberty University and had the joy of leading worship on a travel team with their School of Music. She has worked in worship ministry, songwriting, choir, and private vocal training with churches and nonprofits across the United States.

Laurel and her husband, Michael, have been married since the Fall of 2025 and live in Hardy, VA.
