Baptism is an important step for every believer. It is a step that follows one’s salvation—the time when a person is saved by personally and voluntarily receiving God’s forgiveness. Salvation also means entering into a personal and heart-changing relationship with Jesus.
“Don’t you know that all who share in Christ Jesus by being baptized also share in his death? When we were baptized, we died and were buried with Christ. We were baptized, so that we would live a new life, as Christ was raised to life by the glory of God the Father.” Romans 6:3-4 (CEV)
If you have made a profession of faith in Christ, but have not yet been baptized, we encourage you to speak with Pastor Stan or one of our other pastors, or to come forward during an invitation time following any of our worship services. If you have questions or would like to schedule your baptism, please contact the church office at 540.483.9507.
