Today we continue our series, The Light of Christ. Lights remind us that we are in the Christmas season. During this time of the year, it is easy for our schedules to get packed with lots of activities and if we are not careful we can miss the true reason we are celebrating. Pastor Stan shares about the first Christmas and how many missed one of the greatest events in history.
One of the first indications of the Christmas season is the appearance of lights on trees, houses, and candles. While light reminds us there is darkness, Christmas reveals to us that in the darkness of the fallen world, God sent a great Light, His Son Jesus Christ. 600 years before Christ was born Isaiah prophesied of His coming and reminds us that Jesus is the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace.
